The Northern Sound System (NSS) is an awesome youth focused music centre located in Elizabeth. NSS introduces a unique concept to the City of Playford; combining a 300 person purpose built venue, live recording facilities, rehearsal spaces and music and digital training all in the one place!! Powered by what we at Scend regard as possibly the best CMS on the planet in Expression Engine, Scend designed and developed a full featured web site that is intended to grow with the NSS. Practically all content on the site is generated by NSS staff and users of the NSS by either a user friendly web based interface on the back end, or through a custom made stand alone entry form on the site itself. The site allows users to post comments, sign on as members and create their own artist pages. The site features a fixed background, accordion style navigation and embedded video via You Tube. The main image of the band is a slide show on a continuous loop.
